Friday night I went to check out the opening of Gravity , the latest installment of visual artist Fahamu Pecou over at The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia . This was Fahamu's first solo show at the museum , and Gravity is a continuation of his studies on Black masculinity, which has been the focus of his current work from the past year . Also Fahamu dedicated this series of work to his friend and fellow artist Charles H. Nelson , who passed away in 2009. The opening was a big success friends , fans and supporters came out to enjoy Fahamu's new work . Afterwards there was a small reception hosted by Atlanta art patron Mary Stanley, which wrapped up the night very nicely . Dj Teknology had the intimate gathering rocking as the crowd danced the night away. But enough of me lets see the pics. enjoy
